Christopher Lirette

Location: Atlanta

Christopher Lirette studies cultural studies, anthropology, and spatial theory in Emory's Institute for the Liberal Arts PhD program, where he also teaches in American Studies and Visual Studies. Previously, he's taught creative and expository writing at Cornell, where he earned an MFA in poetry. You can find his recent poems in Drunken Boat, The Southern Review, Hayden's Ferry, and PANK and his prose in ARTPapers, Southern Spaces, HTML Giant, and on his website, climagiste.com. He has worked as an archery instructor, an offshore roustabout, and a personal chef. He knows kung fu.
