Eddie Cantor Ad

This ad for an Eddie Cantor musical demonstrates the intermedial status of blackface minstrelsy in the 1920s. Cantor, who got his start on the vaudeville stage, became a major star in the Ziegfield Follies, and a friend and co-worker with black blackface minstrel Bert Williams.
