Where Is the Wolfman

by Nicholas Sammond

In this scene from American Graffiti (1973), Curt seeks out the deejay Wolfman Jack for help locating a mystery woman. Lucas visually plays up Wolfman's claim to be everywhere and nowhere by the use of reflection and misdirection. This heightens Curt's uncertainty about his own location, in the moment and in his life.
