The Last DJ - Tom Petty
by Brian ORoarkThe changing composition of how we listen to music and the competitive nature of the radio industry leads Tom Petty to lament the coming extinction of the radio dj. But is that really a bad thing. Radio is being replaced by streaming services that allow us to listen to exactly what we want, when we want. That's creative destruction, good for listeners, bad for the radio station.
