Reframing in Vertigo
by Oliver GayckenThese two shots from Vertigo both contain reframing camera movements. In this case, the movement are pans, and they both function to keep the characters in frame as they move around the set. Because the viewer's attention is taken up by character action and dialogue, these movements are unobtrusive.
