by Kellyn Peck

the robbery of an expensive factory tool prompts accusations towards Yakov being a thief. Yakov seeks help from factory and police authorities who both decline assistance, and as an individual among the working class, Yakov cannot afford to purchase a replacement. Unable to live falsely branded as a thief, the worker commits suicide in the middle of the factory by using his own belt to hang himself.
