Actualities and exotic activities

Actualities, or topical films that record or represent current political and social affairs, were the primary mode of filmmaking for the Lumière Bros. While many of their early subjects were French, they quickly began sending cameramen around the world capture exotic rituals or subjects, like the bullfight. Consider the bullfight in relation to the performances in the Edison films. How does this film differ in terms of composition?
