Clara Bow

by Kate Fortmueller

Clara Bow was associated with flapper culture and the new woman - or the woman who has "It." "It" in this film is a degree of style and sex appeal. Throughout this film Clara Bow behaves spontaneously, makes unconventional fashion decisions, defends the honor of her roommate (a single mother), and supports herself with her shop work.
