Blancanieves and visual conflict

In this sequence Encarna (Carmen's stepmother) chops off all of Carmen's long curly hair. Carmen's reaction to the haircut is not revealed until the end of the sequence, but the editing and the high contrast lighting makes this seem like a scary experience.
