Game Theory in "Trading Places"
by Dirk Mateer `

Markets can be manipulated and exploited when one side has more information than the other. Guess what happens when two parties have privileged information and the information that they have is not the same! Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy outsmart their mentors (the Duke brothers) in an effort to ruin them. This is a very funny clip on inside information and stimulating look at how markets work. Moreover, this can also be used as a springboard for a discussion on the market efficiency hypothesis.
