Economics is everywhere – even on a trip to a baseball game. Every decision we make is a choice that has economic impact. Economics is all about choices and incentives – what we decide to do, and why we choose those options, like why you chose to travel to the ballgame one way instead of another. Incentives aren't always about money, either. They can be more intangible, like the pleasure of the view from the ferry as opposed to the one from the bus, time saved or spent, and avoiding or tolerating crowded conditions.
