Keyboard computer graphics

by Critical Commons Manager

In 1984, computer literacy was apparently still low enough for this scene to pass as a plausible demonstration of virtuosity at computer use in Revenge of the Nerds. Working without a mouse or tablet, Anthony Edwards uses his ability to animate characters on screen to win the affection of a fellow nerd who, as a girl, is apparently less natively proficient with computer programming. This scene is either oblivious to the release of the Apple McIntosh later the same year or indifferent to the plausibility of using a keyboard input for drawing and animation on a PC screen.
