Facial recognition used by Bond villain

by Critical Commons Manager

The field of facial recognition has changed dramatically since this scene from the James Bond film, A View to a Kill. In the mid-1980s, computer databases and face recognition was still the type of technology that would be used not be the forces of law and order but of a genetically engineered Bond villain (Christopher Walken). Throughout the film, Walken's association with technology and Nazi eugenics are posed in stark opposition to James Bond's wry humor and calm self-assuredness.
