Creating Max Headroom

by Critical Commons Manager

A boy genius computer programmer accesses the personal records of the reporter Edison Carter in order to reconstitute an electronic version of his personality in the computer. The glitchy, low-res aesthetics of the animated Max were motivated in part by the hardware limitations of the late 1980s, but this quickly became a trademark feature of the character rather than a bug.
