Red Wagon Inn Menu

by Nicholas Sammond

This image shows a cartoon character, Danny the Lamb, as a kind of advertisement for the highest-priced kids meal on the menu: the broiled lamb chop. That an anthropomorphized animal is used to sell the bodies of lambs suggests a connection between human violence and non-human animal meat.
