Stossel's "Unintended Consequences"

John Stossel shows us how some government policies can lead to unexpected and unintended results. This occurs because, when the rules of a game change, people change their behavior. This implies that policy makers should always try to examine what incentives proposed policies bring, and then do their best to try to avoid anything that would either negate the benefits of the policy or even create more problems than the policy fixes.

Discussed in the video include policy proposals such as requiring children to use car seats on an airplane and requiring people to wear helmets when riding a bicycle.
