Tragedy of the Common Cove
by AdrianFohrIn this clip, the slaughter of dolphins is a secret cove is described. Animal abuse aside; this illustrates the tragedy of the commons. The Tragedy of the Commons is a situation in which there is no ownership and so a resource is used until it is depleted. The movie also deals with issues of false advertisement. This is because the Japanese do not regard dolphin as food so dolphin meat must be packaged as something else if it is to be sold.
